Tougher than
the Mountains
A site dedicated to self-knowledge and leadership
based on the Society of the Snow

Welcome
The Society of the Snow (also known as the Miracle of the Andes) has left a rich heritage.
Several films have been produced (Alive, directed by Frank Marshall and The Society of the Snow from the director J.A. Bayona for Netflix), books, documentaries, and countless conferences and interviews to which the protagonists have been invited in the last 50+ years.
This story is very rich in life lessons. It talks of fear, challenges, overcoming impossible situations, decisions, friendship, love, hope, courage, faith and many others.
We have distilled these lessons for those who seek to deepen their self-knowledge, their personal development, their competence in socio-emotional skills and leadership and understand what ethics is, through:
-
A Free Workshop of 10 emails (short and powerful) that you receive every 3 days.
-
A Bi-weekly Newsletter with concepts and perspectives; specific doses of great things updated for you.
-
A personal development Book which will be published soon (Tougher than the Mountains) where we delve into all of the above.
With these tools, we will help you understand on a deep level what factors influenced these young men to act and decide as they did and - at the same time - link the findings to best practices in social skills and leadership. You will learn invaluable life skills taken from that and other examples to apply in your personal and professional activities, in an easy-to-assimilate format.
They will help you be more independent, more reliable, and happier.

All the concepts complement each other. They are all important. They are all applicable to you (and your team, if you have one) and will help solve your challenges, to overcome your personal mountain ranges.
